Calf injury puts Messam’s World Cup debut on hold

All Blacks flanker Liam Messam has been ruled out
of making his world cup debut against Namibia. He has a calf strain and has been replaced
by Jerome Kaino who at least is by his teammate’s side. Messam now has nine days to get fit for the All Blacks’
third pool game against Georgia.
