 Carol Vorderman, 58, took to Twitter to share a series of celebratory snaps after Wales beat France to reach the semi-final of the Rugby World Cup The former Countdown host enjoyed the match from home in a tight-fitting red ensemble Carol was pictured jumping for joy in her living room while watching the game unfold on her TV The presenter showed off her famous curves in a pair of skin-tight leather leggings for the occasion  Putting her pert derriere on display in the snaps, Carol paired the trousers with a matching long-sleeved top  The cropped T-shirt featured a white stripe alongside the sides for added contrast   Representing Wales in all red, Carol’s rugby-inspired top also featured the team’s logo    In view of her 414,000 Twitter followers, she captioned the pictures: “At 80 minutes here we love you @WelshRugbyUnion⁩ #WALvFRA.” Carol’s excitable photos come a day after she was forced to pull out of her BBC Radio Wales show due to illness  The mathematics expert had been spending time in Japan cheering on Wales during the Rugby World Cup  However, the long journey seemed to have taken its toll on Carol’s health as she admitted to feeling “quite poorly”  The star informed her Twitter followers yesterday she wouldn’t be able to present her regular Saturday slot on BBC Radio Wales due to the bug  She tweeted: “Sooooo.am still quite poorly.and having to sign out of my @BBCRadioWales show tomorrow as you won’t want to hear my hacking cough for two hours ugh. bleurgh and all those things. Carol apologised to her listeners and commented: “Soz to everyone but I’ll be back.”(sic)  Fans were quick to offer the Countdown favourite messages of support in her time of need  One person replied: “Hope you feel better soon Carol. Wrap up warm and chill out for a few days Xx.” “Burning the candles at both end Vorders, you need to rest with all this play,” a second added  ⁩Carol seemed to appreciate the comments from fans as she wrote in a separate tweet: “Awwwww, you’re all so lovely Thank you for all the Get Well Soon messages.bottom lip now quivering with ‘awwwww-ness’  “And sending best and a tub of communal #Vicks to everyone else with this stupid bug thing that seems to be doing the rounds…” Fortunately, in spite of her illness, Carol admitted she is “enjoying” taking some time out to rest   She tweeted yesterday: “Declaration: As a woman who NEVER STOPS getting up to stuff I’m quite enjoying this ‘stuck on the sofa getting better’ time. Getting my Japanese bandana and Welsh Rugby kit ready for tomorrow morning tho #WillBeThereInSpirit Would give anything to be there.”(sic)
