Declan Kidney has named an unchanged Ireland
side for the visit of England to Landsdowne Road on Sunday. Brian O’Driscoll has shook off a minor niggle
that he picked up during Ireland’s victorious Six Nations opener against Wales in Cardiff
last weekend. Gordon D’Arcy and Keith Earls have also passed
fitness tests. Peter O’Mahony was treated for concussion
after Saturday’s match but the flanker has been declared fit to face the English. Ireland lost 30 points to nine when the two
nations met at Twickenham last year but the Irish will have the advantage of home support
on Sunday. The stats are also on Ireland’s side. England have not won a Six Nations game in
Dublin for ten years. The 127th match between England and Ireland
could be a championship decider as England also won their opening game against Scotland,
whilst France suffered a surprise defeat to Italy in Rome.
