Montz former pro and founder of OnlineSoccerAcademy.com. Today we are learning how to feet juggle while
running. This is an advanced way to improve your ball control. This OSA video is sponsored
by our parent company BelieveinitApparel.com. During my offseason as a pro this is something
I use to do as a warm up or cool down. I’d jog around the field juggling trying to see
how far I could go without dropping. Occasionally you will use this skill in a
game but for the most part this is meant to improve your ball control. Key Point #1. Make sure you can feet juggle
like a champ first! Click here to watch our main OSA feet juggling video. Key Point #2. Juggle forward at an angle.
When you stand and juggle you juggle the ball straight up. For juggling on the run, you
want to juggle the ball up and forward. Key Point #3. Create back spin on the ball
by locking your ankle, pointing your toes up and back towards your shin. This keeps
the ball in close control and not going forward and away from you. Key Point #4. Get a rhythm and move forward
after each juggle. Take a juggle, move forward and get ready for the next. Key Point #5. Juggle with your dominant foot.
Usually you stick to one foot when feet juggling and running because the ball is in the air
when your opposite foot touch should be happening so it’s like you skip that touch and get ready
again for the dominant foot touch. As you master this on your dominant foot,
then work on your opposite foot and then try both feet. Have you seen our Believe in it® Apparel
yet? We have high quality athletic training tops and comfy shirts. The comfy shirts feature
hand sketched original designs. We have Mens, Women’s and Kids sizes too! Shop at BelieveinitApparel.com!
Believe in it® is for motivated athletes. Now an exercise we can do to practice. Start
off pretending you are feet juggling by walking without the ball. Once comfortable get the
ball and practice. When you feel good feet juggling while walking
then practice feet juggling while jogging without the ball. When you are ready get the
ball out and make it happen. Go as far as you can. When you drop it start
over. As you get better you can increase your speed and distance traveled. Some things that could be going wrong. If
you can’t seem to move forward then you are juggling straight up. Make sure to juggle
forward at an angle, then move towards the ball. Keep your eye on the ball! This skill requires
you looking at the ball pretty much the entire time. It’s not like dribbling where you take
a touch, look up and then bring your eyes back down to the ball. Keep your eyes on the
ball the whole time. Having said that, glance up occasionally to
make sure you don’t run into the street or hit something! Be safe out there! Hope you enjoyed this Online Soccer Academy

  1. Sick I have been learning to soccer walk these few weeks and i have got fairly good but it is hard to improve. But it is actually quite fun. Gonna try this tomorrow around my neighborhood.

  2. Hey Jared Im 14 years old and i live in California and its my dream to become a pro but ive just taken soccer serious at the beginning of this year but ive been playing ever since i was 4 and the only question i have is it too late for me to become a pro?????

  3. Jared, I play right back for my high school team and my club travel team. My club coach wants to move me to right mid, but he says I need more vision and physicality. How can I get better vision, so i can play both RB and RM?

  4. Hey Jared , i wanted to ask if you could make a video on how to catch a ball on your neck , i seen you do this in MANY of your videos but you never made a tutorial , hope you consider making one , thanks (:

  5. This isn't too revelant to the video but I wanted to say that with your videos I have practiced so much everyday and recently it's completely paid off. I finally am able to score goals in games and I've had some great performances lately. I've been working harder and even going with a trainer at school to build my strength and agility. Thank you,

ps. I signed up for the juggleathon

  6. Juggling may seem useless to people, but it will help you tremendously while juggling on the ground while running. Juggling helps you learn how hard you should hit the ball to get it to the distance you want. Really helps you get a sense of touch.

  7. Hi jered on your next upload could you please say little dap to freestyleskillz because I've just started YouTube and you are my inspiration thanks for all your help B-)

  8. Jared this might be offtopic but when i shoot a soccer ball i try it with my laced and hit it with my toes, i lock my ankles i have watched your shooting video, HELP ME ;(

  9. Hey Jared, I recently broke my ankle, but got my cast off and got permission to walk. Are there any exercises I could do to regain muscle on my leg or to have a faster recovery to play again? I already saw your injury video. thanx Jared

  10. Thanks for another great video on basic technique. Basic foot juggling is a technique I have difficulty with. I have improved over time, but I'm still not "making it look easy".

By the way, another spelling check from me… it's "dominant" not "dominate" 🙂

Also thinking about buying a Believe In It shirt. I like the illustration on the blue shirt in this video!

  11. Hey Jared can you please make a video on hoe to improve first touch, and also give some first touch examples or skills

  12. i used to juggle backwards football is one of the things peolpe shoud never hate or comment about hey i cant change their opinion but still i try

  13. No hate man. This toturial is kinda pointless though. "Kick the ball up and forward" yeah I figured. Also practicing without the ball is pointless, May aswell practice with the the ball. Learn to do it with 2 feet not one. It's easier.
