second round of the Division three NCAA men’s lacrosse tournament. RIT hosting New England College at Tiger Stadium. 1st. quarter the Tigers jumped on the pilgrims early as Ryan Tandy nets his second of the day right there, Tandy put RIT up 2-0 less than three minutes into the game. New England however would get on the board thanks to Patrick Storie who scores his 44th goal on the year. it was 2-1 RIT, but the Tigers would go on a big run after that. RIT’s stop scorer this season Kyle Killen, getting his 71st on the year to put RIT in front 4-1. Ryan Tandy had a huge afternoon for the Tigers, one of his five goals on the day here as Tandy helped increase the RIT lead to 9-1, part of an eight nothing run by Jake Coon’s top ranked team. Tigers relentless all day long as Kyle Killen added five goals on the afternoon as well. RIT advances to the third round following a dominant 1 to 6 to 3 victory over New England College.
