Recap: Women’s Soccer vs. Penn

From Ohiri Field on the campus of Harvard
University this is the Ivy League on ESPN. The defending Ivy League co-champion Penn
Quakers and the Harvard University Crimson set for the Ivy League opener. Four different players start all 16. Off the crossbar. Handful of substitutions we saw a few minutes
ago for the Quakers, now DelPico. Nice nifty little move, Di Verniero! Challenged Qu who came out for it. 65-70 degrees, then the next couple of games
for both the men and the women were inside the bubble because it was too cold. As DelPico rolls it around, turns, shoots,
and just misses wide left. Fresh back into the game, Raimondo again. Working towards the edge of the box, into
the middle, turns, shot DelPico scores! The helper from the outside, DelPico turns
and gets it past Qu. Now Wilenski, turns it towards the middle,
dangerous Hess goes up and gets it. An attempt in the box, Larson tried to turn
it around, Wright with a shot, Hess with the hands! Harvard seals it. Frustration from Penn, celebration from Harvard,
a one nil victory for the Crimson in the Ivy League opener.
