At Te Kura Kaupapa
Maori-a-Rohe o Mangere on the second day of the
Tamariki Ora celebrations run by the Maori
Sports Awards trust. The competitive nature was obvious
amongst the schools of Auckland as they celebrated
the Rugby World Cup. It was a great start to
Tamariki Ora Day which is also celebrating
the Rugby World Cup. 20 schools gathered at the call
of the Maori Sports Awards trust. Each school will represent
a team in the RWC. Students compete at
Ki-o-rahi and Ripper Rugby. It’s great to see the
schools come together. We are enjoying the day.

their assigned country. – Who will win?
