[Foot Soccer] [Skills for Football] [Music] [Music] What’s going on? Little dap. It’s Jared
Montz former pro and founder of OnlineSoccerAcademy.com. Today we are learning how to do soccer tricks
like how to do the hocus pocus. The Hocus Pocus is an advanced attacking move
usually done from a stand still position; it’s not done at full speed. Key Points:
Key Point 1. Plant your plant foot a few inches in front
of the ball. Key Point 2.
Push the ball forward at an angle with your dominant foot. Don’t kick, push the ball. Foot angled forward. Not sideways. Push the ball. Don’t kick it. Key Point 3.
Quickly move your foot to push ball in opposite direction with your laces around your plant
foot. Make sure the ball gets past your plant foot before you start the process of the second
touch Don’t do the second touch to early. Wait until
the ball gets past your plant foot. Key Point 4.
Change pace! Accelerate after you do this move! Key Point 5.
Typically the Hocus Pocus is done in the attacking third from more of a stand still, walking
or light jog position. You will not be doing this move running at full speed. You need a soccer ball and two soccer cones. Soccer Exercise Player Can Do:
Start off practicing the Hocus Pocus technique without the ball. Once comfortable do it with
the ball from a stand still. Once you are confident doing it from a stand still set
up two cones. Dribble on a walk or light jog from a start cone to a defender cone. Do the
Hocus Pocus and accelerate past that defender cone. Repeat until you are tired or you master
it! [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] What Football Player Could Be Doing Wrong:
If you can’t get a second touch on the ball because the ball is going to far then you
are kicking it with the inside of your foot, not pushing it. Take a lighter touch and push
the ball. If the ball keeps hitting your plant foot
when you take your second touch then you are starting the second part of this move to early.
Let the ball get past your plant foot a bit. Bonus Tip!
Be confident when you do this move! Don’t be surprised when it works! Only do it in
the attacking third of the field and if you mess up, so what! Just hustle back on defense
and the crowd will applaud you! Hope you enjoyed this Online Soccer Academy

  13. Mate can you get new soccer shoes and a ball. Also can you explain more and show the moves more . What you do is just talk about them. I'm sorry if I hirt your feelings but if this doesn't happen I may stop watchin your video's and something even worst and you better know what it is. Everything else is just perfect. If this hurts your feelings can be honest and tell me

  14. This is a great variation of the cruyff turn and I have used it a lot. If you can show some other tricks that are more challenging though that would be great. This site is awesome for beginers and helped me learn many moves which I used to  make my own but I have been struggling to find some more new and challenging moves so if you can attach some links of more advanced moves or some crossing tutorials or postioning and traits of players for midfielders or etc that would be great. I have learned a lot of moves with the sole of the cleat through some Brazilian tutorials and stepover and scissor combos from some amazing Swedish soccer players and was hoping you could do some tutorials of moves like those also. If you can show me those videos or make them I would love to subscribe to your channel. Thanks for reading my comment and showing me many moves like this that help me improve so much over the past few years I just need a little more of a challenge now.

  15. 2:51 Misspelled "too" But I guess I'm "too" late anyway.
3:10 I tried the Hocus Pocus in the attacking third of a soccer match after practicing for a half hour the day before, and it got caught on my plant foot and I fell in front of the defender. The crowd 'applauded' me by laughing their butts off. I couldn't hustle back on defense either, I got substituted. Any idea how not to get the same thing again?
