Today saw the return
of the Black Ferns who won the Women’s Rugby World
Cup competition in London. A warm welcome home for the
elite women of the rugby world, who brought home the golden cup. This is the fourth consecutive year
the Black Ferns have won the title. In their final match
against England, NZ led the way in the first half, but their competitors fought
hard to even the scores. However, at almost full time, NZ
took the game with a penalty kick. With an impressive end
to the competition Huriana Manuel now has
another goal in sight. That is to end well on her third
year of Maori media studies at AUT University in Auckland. Maiki Sherman, Te Karere.
